Debbie K. Hagan-Hogan, the founding director of the Sooner Sensations Show Chorus, has stepped back into the spotlight and we are thrilled at her return! Her inspirational attitude and extensive experience in barbershop, Sweet Adelines, and gospel music is thrilling, and she loves to share her knowledge and her passion for music with others. She has been an active member of 4 choruses and continues to be a coach and teacher for many choruses and quartets. She has held a variety of leadership positions on the chorus level as well as on a Regional level.
The event that captured the hearts of audiences all over the world was the 1987 Sweet Adelines International Quartet Competition in Hawaii, where her quartet, Ginger ‘n Jazz, earned their place as International Quartet Champions and were crowned the 1987 Queens of Harmony. Her amazing and memorable voice still thrills people worldwide.
Her deep religious convictions and creative teaching style is an amazing experience for members who feel needed, motivated, and challenged to reach for the stars and maximize their individual potential and the potential of the chorus as a whole… as a team… and as a family.
Her love and devotion to her family and friends has been a blessing to many. Her daughter, Heather, born only months before Debbie was crowned as Queen of Harmony, now proudly joins her mother as a member of the chorus, along with several other mother/daughter, sister/sister, and a grandmother/granddaughter combinations.
We are all Sisters in Harmony! Come join us!
